This is the Basics of Pistol Shooting Course taught according to the NRA’s curriculum. In this course you learn proper firearms safety and storage. Also pistol parts and functions, types of firearms, you will learn about the different types of ammunition. As well as all the fundamentals of pistol shooting, how to clean and maintain your firearm, and so much more. Afterwards take the skill you learned in class and perform them on the firing range.
You will also have the opportunity to become a member of the NRA yourself and join the millions who take part in the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program

COURSE LENGTH 6-8 HOURS
Student will receive an NRA certificate of completion for this course.
Rifle Training
This is a 8-hour introductory course taught by one of our certified rifle instructors. This includes both classroom time and live range time. Proper eye and hearing protection will be provided to all students. At the end of the course, students will receive feedback on all live-fire exercises along with a certificate of completion.

- Fundamentals of ammunition and safe rifle operations
- Fundamentals of rifle marksmanship
- Proper cleaning and storage of all types of rifles
- Firing the first shots
- Shooting sports and related activities along with advice on rifle selection
Shotgun Training
This is an 8-hour (1 day) introductory course taught by one of our certified instructors. Proper eye and hearing protection will be provided to all students. At the end of the course, students will receive feedback on all live-fire exercises along with a certificate of completion.

- Moving on - advanced shooting skills

- Proper levels of maintenance necessary for the firearm
- Applicable solvents and lubricants
- Rust prevention or removal
- Specific disassembly instructions for the weapon

- How to check for unusual wear and tear
- How to safely accomplish function checks on the weapon
- Troubleshooting problems with weapons
- Student will receive free cleaning kit for their firearms.

Tactical & Emergency Training
This is a more advanced 8-hour course taught by one of our certified instructors. This includes both classroom time and live range time. Once you have the basics down, you’ll be ready to learn how to handle active shooter situations and other dangerous threat incidents. This intense course is designed with one goal in mind: to save lives.

- How to make accurate shot placements rapidly and under stress

- How to deal with multiple threats
- How to engage targets at multiple distances
- Selection of a defensive pistol and accessories
- Selection of defensive and training ammunition
